Further Details $1000 sign up bonus for new Curis Nurses June, July and August 2026 starts available 4–12-week agency contracts $95 per hour Monday - Friday day rate (6.30am to 6.30pm) plus penalties, overtime, on call and super on top of this Fully furnished housing provided Return travel within Australia provided Comprehensive support provided throughout your contract, from our dedicated recruitment team Your Role As a Remote Area Nurse within this Aboriginal Health Service, you will be working in a highly autonomous and diverse role, providing frontline primary health care services to remote Aboriginal communities across East Arnhem Land. You will work as part of a team delivering a broad scope of care including emergency presentations, triage, chronic disease management, child and maternal health, health assessments, care planning, immunisations and health promotion. The role often combines clinic-based care with outreach and community engagement, requiring nurses to build strong relationships with local Yolŋu communities and work in a culturally safe and respectful manner. Due to the remote nature of the communities, you are often relied upon for advanced clinical decision-making and the ability to manage a wide variety of presentations, making it an incredibly rewarding role if you are a nurse seeking meaningful work, clinical variety and the opportunity to genuinely impact community health outcomes.
